Bego M. Santiago (SP, visual)
Spanish visual artist comes from Santiago de Compostela, currently lives in Berlin. Her creative scope is quite broad. She creates a different light installations (often interactive character), video, videomapping projects, photos or books. She uses video like a transformer of reality where mainly solves binds between the real and fake, original and copy, presence and absence. These small interstices demonstrates through the inward movie, where usually as a supporting element uses the human body. The content of the communication is often emotionally tuned, affects not only the perception of human self-reflection, but also addresses the social environment in which modern man exists.
Bego has already visited many European cities with her exhibition pieces or live performances, she settled for a short time also in Czech. In 2011 she worked here as an assistant in studio of animation at UMPRUM, in the same year was invited to the residence with Spanish visual group Nino Viejo on the festival Lunchmeat. In 2012 she prepared here in cooperation with Lunchmeat the videomappingovou show "Baroque " for the event " Liven up your house " , which took place coincidentally opposite the Trade Fair Palace, where she will accompany by her visuals British Rain Dog on 25/4/2014.
