The disappearance of great stories is considered by a lot of people as one of the main characteristics of our time. The narrative got mashed and our life stories consist of rather short nonsensical etudes, which are difficult, if not impossible to frame, as the world around us is so fast, that we don't have the time to build a construction that would be able to hold all the moments together. And that is one of the reasons why the group Ghostmother is trying to return to the past – to resuscitate the old forms and interconnect them with modern approaches. Its members, amongst whom Jiří Burian (aka Gregory Finn ze Southpaw) and opera singer Hana Pecková belong to, work with various offshoots of theater, as well as sound and visual principles, creating unique artistic works that surpass the model of mere recycling of old principles.
