Jahbitat vs. No-Domain, MeetFactory, 8:30 PM 03/13

Jahbitat is one of the sonic forms adopted by the half English, half Colombian, Guatemalan born, Venezuela/UK raised and Barcelona based musician Simon Williams. You can get dizzy from that multicultural skipping, but actually it is an asset – if you know his background now, you will not wonder why he has plenty of projects which vary and why even as Jahbitat makes abstract hip-hop of so many unlike veins. Actually it goes so far that it makes no bones about mixing piano, rapping and oud to him on his 2007 debut album "Harpy Lights The Canopy". Williams, who will release follower of the first album later this year, is multi- also at gigs: he manages to play guitar, to handle the laptop, sampler, effector and even to sing.
